The Oswestry Cemetery Project offered several volunteering opportunities. Different activities were offered at different venues.

The genealogy research was completed at Oswestry Library and remotely in volunteers' homes.

The Cemetery archives were conserved and catalogued at Shropshire Archives.

The grave photographic survey was undertaken at the Cemetery.

The history of the Cemetery was researched at Oswestry Town Archives and by volunteers who were cataloguing at Shropshire Archives.

In total, over 50 volunteers worked on the Project. Between them they worked over 600 volunteer days.
